NewPlay 4 is now supporting Chinese traditional, Chinese simplified, English and Arabic.

It's easy for everyone to translate NewPlay Language Packs.

Email us your translation! If we choose yours, you'll get NewPlay for free... along with all the fame and glory from your fellow speakers.

How to do it:

1. Open the file "npeng.ini" in "C:\Program Files\NewPlay4\Language" folder with any Text Editor.

2. Translate to your heart's content! These are all the words and phrases of NewPlay interface. Just type the correctly translated words after the "=". Type only in single lines! Just keep typing in one long line for those longer phrases...,"return" and "enter" will cause problems.

3. Click "Save As" and name the file as the new language (eg. Russian -> nprus.ini,French -> npfre.ini ),save the file in "C:\Program Files\NewPlay4\Language" folder.

4. Now it's done! Just close/reopen NewPlay, and click "Setup -> Language" for your new language.

Some Tips:

1. The symbols(eg. @@1) help the software know what to do. So basically don't worry about them and just leave them all in.

2. One symbol you will want to know about, though, is "&". When "&" is typed before a letter, for example "&Play", the letter becomes underlined on the regular interface screen. So, you would see "Play" on the regular interface screen.

3. Do not add any carriage returns! Type only single lines. You can use some "space" to help if you'd like.
